Integration component: Projects

Streams can been connected to new or existing Projects in Asana.

Step 1

In the first modal, select the Asana Workspace you would like to use.

You must enter at least two characters in all dynamic select menus.

To populate this menu for the first time, the app will need to query your Asana instance and build a list of options, this can take several seconds to complete.

Once a cache of options has been built, this menu will populate immediately, but refreshes (if the desired Workspace is newly created) will also take several seconds to complete.

Step 2

In the second modal, choose either a new or an existing Asana Project for the connection.

Step 3

• If connecting a new Asana Project, select the Asana Team where it will be created and then name the new Project.

• If connecting to an existing Asana Project, select it from the menu.

The tool connection will be shown where Streams are mentioned in Slack and in Requests that generated corresponding tasks in Asana.
